LCM Technologies was formed in July 2003 with the mission of developing bio-analytical products.
Our core technology is capillary electrophoresis, which is used to separate complex samples into components for identification and analysis.
We are currently offering a polymer sieving matrix for dsDNA fragment analysis using capillary gel electrophoresis.
In addition, we are developing two additional products:
1) A novel electrophoresis method that offers faster analysis than
capillary gel electrophorsis and is ideally suited for the shorter
separation lengths of micro-fluidic chips.
2) Instrumentation for protein profiling and analysis of individual
proteins in complex samples using capillary and micro-fluidic chip
electrophoresis.
Our strength is the development of novel or improved products. Wh have expertise in capillary electrophoresis, micro-fluidic chip electrophoresis, laser-induced fluorescence, and polymer chemistry for capillary and micro-fluidic chip coatings and sieving matrixes. We have the capability to produce customized fluorescence detection apparatus, micro-fabricated electrophoresis chips using silica substrate, polymer coatings for silica substrate, entangled linear polymers for capillary sieving matrices, and latex attached to DNA fragments and oligos.
